I discovered Hazem Beltagui while dissecting the A State Of Trance 2013 compilation tracklist. When I came across his collaboration with Allan V, titled ‘We Are’, I was emotional moved. I blasted the tune on my KRK speakers and it took me on a journey that no record has taken me on before. Since that day I’ve been addicted to his melo-trance style.
The vibe that I get from Beltagui’s music is unreal. One of his recent releases, ‘Surrender’, uses the simplest of melodies to send shivers down your spine as the kick drum pulses behind beautiful progressive chords.
