If you haven’t heard Helena Legend’s new sound yet, well you’re in for a treat. The producer, singer, and songwriter recently released her new EP, “No Explanations Part 1”, with Sony Music/Ultra Records. The three track EP showcases her triple threat capabilities, which is something she hasn’t fully shown the world yet. The first track on the EP, “RU Feelin It”, is in collaboration with the talented music duo LYRE. “RU Feelin It” is our favorite track of the three, with its catchy lyrics and powerful bassline, its hard to take it off of repeat. The EP follows with more of a future bass sound with “Illusion”. Helena makes her vocal debut on this single with lyrics about living life by your own rules. The final track, “Getaway”, features the smooth vocals of Blake Rose. “Getaway” is the perfect ending to the EP, featuring a trap sound with island rhythms, that will get you lost in the music.
Helena’s combination of sultry vocals, powerful lyrics, and futuristic bass sound makes for a powerful emotion filled EP. We love the direction Helena Legend is going in, and we can’t wait to hear more from her. Make sure to check out “No Explanations Part 1” below.
