After making changes to the group internally, Helicopter Showdown is revamping and moving forward in positive ways. “Gucci Goonies” take a retro look and transforms it into something culturally relevant and hilarious (within the album art.) Yet, the music is far from the joke, as the Helicopter Showdown infiltrates your speakers with expected heavy bass, this time featuring more of experimental bass twist. The single wouldn’t be complete with bit of Gucci huffs and puffs integrated within, which is exactly what HS provides in this one.
Helicopter Showdown has been an active and popular act in the more brutal side of the bass scene. Release a plethora of remixes, collaborations and originals over few short years that truly take bass music to a heavier next level. Yet, the group experiences some internal troubles and released this statement.
Helicopter Showdown does not support or condone drug abuse, the physical abuse of women, child neglect, or plagiarism. Previous members of the ensemble have been formally dismissed from the project indefinitely. Devan Day is the original founder, creator, and legal owner of Helicopter Showdown and currently is and will continue to serve as its curator. Helicopter Showdown is looking most forward to sharing his new music, tour dates, and pursuing this new chapter with his fans, followers, and friends, as a solo artist.
