Over the past four years, Endaf has been mastering his production style, eventually landing Chief Resident at the label High Grade Grooves. Based in North Whales, the DJ specializes in fusing elements of RnB, deep house, and garage while working in soulful vocals into each track. His singles “Waiting” and “Cry For You” have garnered support from artists like Soulection’s Joe Kay, BBC’s Huw Stephens and Karma Kid. Earlier this year, the BBC’s Launchpad Fund picked up on Endaf’s rising talent and gave him a grant to update his studio, allowing him to reach out and expand his production. More vocal manipulations are to come with smooth voices from the likes of Sanna Hurtfield, Eady Krawford, and Dion Jones.
Endaf just released a remix of A Broken Camarilla’s single “Sail”. Endaf and ABC band member, Tommy Tickle, met at Cardiff University, sharing their aspirations of electronic music and future careers in the music industry. They split ways after graduating to start their projects, but always planned for a collaboration down the road. Endaf perfectly works ABC’s lead vocalist, Eva, into his downtempo style. Her voice echoes out before seeping into his slow, grooving rhythms. The track has a dreamy essence, making you want to float off and never come back down. It’s that slow, soulful sound that is perfect for those chill nights. This track is available for your playlists via SoundCloud now.
