Catch Hippie Sabotage at the Inaugural Goldrush Music Festival AZ 2017

Over the years, Sacramento born brothers, Jeff and Kevin Saurer, have put out some massive hits, but it is no secret that their #1 remix “Habits (Stay High)” is what truly kick started Hippie Sabotage’s career in EDM. The remix had already raked in 200 million views on YouTube alone all before their very first show back in 2015. The two are easily known for their chill, melodic twist on hip-hop and trap, which seems to have put them in a category all on their own. Growing up in the Bay Area, the two spent a lot of time in the Haight-Ashbury district which had a massive impact not only on them, but their music as well. Since grade school the two have always had a goal of creating something that tested the traditional system, much like the hippies and musicians during the counterculture movement.

One of the most stand-out elements of Hippie Sabotage is how passionate they are about making crowd interactions a focus point in their live shows. They are constantly jumping down into the crowd to get rowdy with the one’s lucky to get spots in the front. But don’t worry if you’re a little further back, they’re also pros when it comes to crowd surfing. Along with that, the guys always bring up as many people from the crowd as they can when they play “Habits (Stay High).” It’s a pretty magical moment.

There’s no denying the two have seen nothing but success this year while trekking across the globe on their Chasing The Wild Tour. They’ve sold out most of the stops, released tons of new music, and made appearances at some of the biggest festivals. Buku Music + Art Project just revealed Hippie Sabotage on their 2018 Phase 1 lineup and the guys recently announced their Path Of Righteousness Tour, set to kick off February 1, 2018.
