On Wednesday of this past week, Hippie Sabotage took the stage at the Marquee Theatre in Tempe, AZ and it was absolute magic to say the least. The two brothers, Jeff and Kevin Saurer, have been on the road since February 1st selling out shows in cities all over the country on their Path of Righteousness Tour. Special guests for the tour included Azizi Gibson, Melvv, and Lil Xan, who all have a very similar styles to HS and definitely know how to warm up the dance floor.
When it comes to uplifting vibes, exceptional tunes, and well, staying high – the hippies totally have you covered. Not only do they put on one hell of a show, but they always make sure the fans know how much they are loved. Jeff and Kevin are so keen on making crowd interactions a focus point that crowd surfing, mosh pits, and the occasional “spark up” with people in the front row are basically a tradition. Not to mention the fact that during every single show when they play “Stay High” the brothers allow as many people as the venue will allow to come up on stage and party with them. Who else does that?!
On top of all of that, they, along with their crew, throw out about 30+ Hippie Sabotage shirts to the crowd the entire night. It keeps things super fun and entertaining to watch everyone get hyped to catch some free merch while getting down and sweaty in the pit. The guys played everything from their older classics like “Ridin Solo,” Waiting Too Long,” “Fast Car,” and “Able To See Me” to their newer hits like “Options,” “Drifter,” “Peyote,” and “Chasing the Wild” which features Daisy Guttridge, who was there to sing live. Needless to say, the mood was never anything less than alive and vibrant. They closed out the tour with two sold out nights in San Diego Friday and today but be sure to catch them this summer at Bonnaroo Music Festival and be on the lookout for new music coming soon!
