With Ultra in the books and summer right around the corner, festival season is so close we can almost hear it. That can only mean one thing: it’s time to start planning for Holy Ship 2014.
Hot on the heels of Miami Music Week, Holy Ship‘s trio of promoters – HARD Events, Cloud 9 Adventures, and The Bowery Presents – satiated future cruiser appetites with a few big announcements about the electroncic music cruise’s third iteration.
First, they confirmed the dates and locations: Holy Ship!!! will set sail from Miami, FL on January 9, 2014 and return on January 12. Along the way, the ship will stop at not one but two private islands for what promise to be raucous beach parties (Diplo live from the beach, anyone?).
Then they announced something bigger, confirming the rumors that there would indeed be a new ship setting sail this winter. The MSC Divina will replace the smaller MSC Poesia for Holy Ship 2014, and from the looks of the announcement video cruisers will be sailing in the finest style – inspired by Italian actress Sophia Loren, no less.
Yes, that’s a bowling alley. Yes, that was an infinity pool. Yep, there’s crystal staircases and five star dining too. Read this from the Holy Ship camp:
“MSC Divina brings all the elegance and glamour of the golden age of sea travel in a new vision…a spacious, ultramodern interpretation that makes for the perfect backdrop to host this floating EDM utopia. From a Broadway-size theatre and real stone piazza, to the sweeping grace of her Swarovski crystal staircases and expansive pool deck, balanced by the calm of her infinity pool and Aurea Spa wellness centre, this truly is an intimate electronic music lover’s paradise.”
Prebooking spots for Holy Ship!!! sold out in less than ten minutes when they went on sale earlier this month, but if you’re feeling lucky you can add yourself to the wait list. We’ll keep you up to date on Holy Ship!!! information – including artist announcements and pricing options – as they become available.
