Have you ever wondered how an Iowa country folk would dance to EDM? Well if for some reason you have today is your lucky day because YouTube is about to provide you with the answer.
This video is hilarious, not only because of how these people dance, but because they’re rocking out to one of the most overplayed records in dance music. The DJ in the video calls the groups slick dancefloor moves the “line dance” and claims they’re doing it because “it makes sense.” From the looks of it he isn’t wrong, these Iowa folks seem to be well in tune with the beat.
So last night, December 12, 2013, DJ Bui and I drove from Des Moines to Cedar Falls to DJ at the Barmuda nightclub Joker’s. We came into town early so we called DJ T-Beck and see what he was doing and he was spinning for country night at Beck’s Sports Grill, also ran by Barmuda. We came in and saw they were doing line dancing lessons then T-Beck turns to us and asks, “wanna see them line dance to Animals?” So then I pulled out my iPhone and caught this video. – via YouTube Video
