After alluring listeners with his wayward Chapter One EP, the faceless enigma Howwler is back to haunt dreams with the newest edition. Chapter Two is built on the malevolent ambiance that its predecessor set as the foundation for Howwler’s attractively eerie vibes. The opening track “The Vault” begins with his signature, menacing wolf howl, a sign that he is about to lead listeners on an unknown journey into the darkness of night. The track features jarring percussion and ominous basslines, leaving listeners on the edge of their seat throughout its entirety. But that’s just the first track – the real standout on the EP is “One Mode.” It’s the type of acid house and techno influenced track that ravers have lost their minds to in dark warehouses for decades, and Howwler is the mad scientist on stage.
While his identity remains a mystery, he is however, revealing his undeniable talent with each release he drops. There’s no doubt about it that Howwler’s underground sound is enticing and unique in every way possible. After debuting his first EP, Chapter One, the anonymous producer was instantly signed to Paradigm Talent Agency, who also hosts artists such as A-Trak, REZZ, and Mija. During the upcoming months, Howwler will be releasing new singles on a regular basis and his debut live show is planned for Miami Music Week/ Winter Music Conference 2018.
