What started as a rain delay ended as a full-out cancellation of day three’s night-time set this weekend at The Hudson Project. Earlier today, July 13th, at roughly 5:40 PM, the festival took to their official Facebook account to announce the initial rain delay:
Though, just two hours later, The Hudson Project public relations team came out with this statement:
It’s to be understood by fans that the festival did everything they could to keep the party going, however, the safety of the festival attendees always comes first. The Hudson Project had even taken the time to assure the safe departure of their attendees throughout this evening:
Our on site WhiteRaverRafting journalists have told us that fans were disappointed, but in good spirits. Thanks to social media we’ve learned that a group of people even took the time to set up their own activities while they waited for the official cancelation:
