If you’re not into the new form of relaxing, chill, tropical, vibe-y, deep house movement that electronic dance music is currently in the middle of you must get with the times! Just kidding, but you should at least test the waters. Big room, electro and other party-rocking genres will only get you so far in this scene. By limiting yourself to just those structures you’re doing yourself a disservice.
Now that I’ve finished ranting, you can go ahead and enjoy this new record by Human Life and Anabel Englund. Unlike a lot of the tracks we’ve been posting lately, this record isn’t as tropical our deep, but it’s certainly soulful with a hint of uplifting spirit. I can’t put my finger on what’s so addictive about this project, maybe the range and quality that comes with the vocal duet? I’m not sure. All I know is that the record might start off slow, but give it sometime as it picks up and transforms into something very unique.
