HWLS is composed of the duo Ta-Ku and Justin Elway. Both of these Australians have been releasing electronic music for sometime now and make for the perfect combination with every release. Known for their chilled out, trappy vibes, HWLS have cornered the market by perfecting their unique sound and immaculate releases. Incorporating progressive synths and matching them with hard hitting trap drums forms their releases into powerhouses. They have a collaboration with Ty Dolla Sign from Adidas’ “Songs From Scratch” project; it’s garnered close to a million plays on Soundcloud.
Today we bring you the latest single from the duo featuring another Australian beat maker, ShockOne. The three Aussies kick off “Gamma” with hard hitting synths that bring progressive vibes only up until the bass takes over in the drop. Paired with trap drums and seemingly electro vibes, HWLS prove crossing genres is no issue for them. This track is the first off an EP to come at a later date. Although the name of the EP hasn’t been announced, we are waiting in anticipation. HWLS will be joining Flume on his North American tour and will be performing at already sold out venues.
