Over Labor Day Weekend in New York City, Berlin-based brand HYTE hosted a stage takover at Sunday School Grove for Electric Zoo’s 10-year anniversary. The stage was created with key elements present in every HYTE show, set against a backdrop of the East River and the famous Manhattan skyline. To the front of the stage, a sea of techno lovers dressed in all black everything flooded the Grove to get the party started.
The day began with local favorites Miss Jennifer and Eskuche b2b Salvione. The heat turned up a few notches when the relentless Break New Soil and GTO label boss Gregor Threser came to play, followed by a ravenous set from German powerhouse Matthias Tanzmann. Pete Tong then came in guns blazing, commanding the stage with his impeccable selection of industry hits, setting the scene for the highly anticipated closing set of the night.
Techno pioneers and absolute legends Chris Liebing and Dubfire played a powerful 3-hour b2b set to end the festival on a ferocious note. The two legends took us on an unforgettable journey, with Chris Liebing having played a few of his upcoming tracks from his new album Burn Slow on Mute label.
