iHeartRadio will host its biggest festival to date September 20 and 21 at The MGM Garden Arena in Las Vegas. Tiësto, Zedd, Benny Benassi, Krewella and Pete Tong are the only DJs to make the bill that also features superstars like Justin Timberlake, Katy Perry and Elton John.
It’s odd that Benassi would make the lineup given that he has no pull with younger dance music listeners, iHeartRadio’s target market. Benassi hasn’t had a successful single since what, “Satisfaction”?
Krewella marks a late addition as the group will be performing on the daytime “IHeartRadio Music Festival Village” alongside the likes of Miley Cyrus and The Wanted. It’s incredible how far the trio from Chicago has come in such a short time.
The music will be broadcasted live across all Clear Channel radio stations, iHeartRadio.com with live segments on The CW Network. I had to check what the CW Network was, but evidently you can watch shows like this.
