Ill.Gates Brings Dance to Destroid On “Raise Your Fist” Remix

Over the last 16 years, ill.Gates has firmly established himself in the world of electronic music. In that time the Toronto based DJ/Producer has had numerous collaborations with some of the biggest names in electronic music while also conducting workshops to bring the gift of creating music to new ears. Recently, he was on the road with Excision for his 2014 winter tour bringing with him a live show almost as insane as his hair.

Gates takes the ferocity of the original but twists it up with a dancey moombahton vibe. He masterfully incorporates zippy synths while taking this remix in a totally different direction. A slow break down in the middle before launching you back into the throes of moombah almost makes you forget that the original rips your face off with dubstep.
