Illuminize has been an artist that stands out from the rest when it comes to the EDM scene in Atlanta. We first caught wind of Omar Martinez back in October with his first single “Reality”, making a statement about his tastes in hardstyle. With just under two years of taking on the dark side, the young producer has been able to go from solo releasing tracks on SoundCloud to now joining one of the most prominent hardstyle labels, Scantraxx, with his biggest release to date.
While some may find that hardstyle can be one-dimensional, Illuminize brings out the other layers that can be found in the genre with his latest single, “Radiate”. Partnering with Nashville based vocalist, Weldon, we get to see an almost softer, more emotional side to what hardstyle has to offer. With jumping synths, an inspirational melody, and a nostalgic touch to some of the best days of summer that will always lie in our hearts, “Radiate”, becomes a total ear-worm. Paired with a lyric video featuring iconic spots in Atlanta, we can’t help from ourselves reliving those shining memories.
