It’s only 42 days left until we all join together once again for a fairytale weekend at Imagine Music Festival this September. For their fifth year anniverary, their roster is stacked with giants in all genres like Paul Oakenfold, Kaskade, Bassnectar, Glitch Mob, and Green Velvet to name just a few. You can check out the full lineup here. We advise to wait till you’re out of ear shot, because we’re sure you’re going to freak out at how amazing it is. Imagine and Iris Presents isn’t done yet, however. For 2018, they are really aiming to create an unforgettable experience with upgrades and new additions to the aquatic adventure that attendees can enjoy. Let’s break down all that Imagine has to offer this year.
The Golden Ticket:
Many festivals love to bring out the kid in us like EDC, Tomomorrowland, and of course Imagine. Some of us have seen this before in the past, where a lucky winner receives the golden ticket (queue Willy Wonka theme music) that includes artist meet and greets, VIP passes, and more. For their fifth anniversary, Imagine is running the contest where first wins two VIP passes and a meet and greet with the legendary Kaskade. Second place receives a free GA three day pass and third place wins an awesome merch bundle. You can enter for to win your golden ticket here.
Win the Ultimate Trip:
This year, Imagine has partnered with charity platform, Surreal, to giveaway the ultimate Imagine VIP trip. In order to enter, they ask for a donation of your choosing, even if it’s only five bucks, all of which the proceeds go to the Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. What is including for the winner two VIP Passes for you and a friend, free accommodations, round trip flights thanks to Orbitz, and an artist experience with Armin Van Buuren, Kaskade, Alesso and others. Camping Experience:
There are so many reasons to camp at a festival, from getting to enjoy the outdoors, to the crazy activities held inside, to meeting some of the best people that end up joining your rave family. Imagine has totally stepped the game up with some awesome perks to the experience for 2018.
First and foremost, if you buy early arrival passes, you’ll get to enjoy all the awesome pre-parties. Be sure to buy your camping passes + early arrival here to stay in the loop of who will be throwing down on the decks. The music never stops at festival and neither does the party, so after each night ends within the speedway, campers can keep dancing till the sun comes up at the Silent Disco. This was probably one of our favorite things about camping last year. You and your friends can switch between different channels so everyohne can all get down to your favorite tracks all at one stage. This is one of the largest Silent Disco experiences in the country and it’s a great way to discover local artists and keep working on those dance moves.
If camping isn’t exactly something you have luck with, Imagine is now offering QUBE camping. The QUBES have their own village that include: bathrooms, showers, a community area and service centers for anything you need. One QUBE can fit 4 people comfortably and comes with sick features like blackout interior lining and solar USB chargers. Set-up and breakdown services are included so all you need to worry about is picking your side of the QUBE and partying with your neighbors.
Last year they had workshops to help attendees with things like learning about yoga, flow arts, and meditation. Now they have added so many more classes like learning about Sacred Geometry, Mindfulness, and others. All of these workshops are free and are held within the Imaginarium on the campgrounds. The schedule will be posted soon, so keep a lookout because these classes can fill up fast. After you’ve centered your chakras and learned a trick or two you can head over to the field games before the festival gates open at three. Activities from ping pong, pool, football, and other events will bring all your fam together to battle it out.
