MLennial is making moves. Founded by industry veteran Mike Lisanti, the Los Angeles-based artist management company has been making serious moves since launching in April 2024. Lisanti, formerly the COO of Prodigy Artists, has spent over a decade developing talent and rethinking how artists navigate their careers. With a roster featuring Crankdat, BARELY ALIVE, Kompany, SABAI, and MUZZ, the team at MLennial know how to navigate the industry.
Joining him is Paulette Varelas, an artist manager and show director who also oversees Seven Lions. She got her start running operations for PLUR Angels, a non-profit focused on harm reduction in live music spaces, and has since built a reputation as a champion for artist growth and mental health advocacy. From Jason Ross to Andrew Bayer to Gem & Tauri, her work spans emerging talent and festival mainstay – her career now leading to her show director role at MLennial and Seven Lions coming into the fold.
For those new: Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, has been bending the edges of electronic music for over a decade. He first made waves in 2012, winning a Beatport remix contest for Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go.” Since then, he’s put out music on Anjunabeats, OWSLA, Casablanca, and his own Ophelia Records, with standout tracks like “Strangers” (with Tove Lo), “Rush Over Me” (with Illenium, Said the Sky, Haliene), and “Need Your Love” (with Gryffin, Noah Kahan). His 2022 album Beyond the Veil leaned into atmospheric textures, and 2024 collaborations like “Not Even Love” (with Illenium) and “I’ll Wait For You” (with Subtronics and Skylar Grey) complete the picture as to why he is a modern icon in the global dance scene.
With Lisanti and Varelas leading the charge, MLennial is in a whole new era.
