For years, Zebbler Encanti Experience has partnered with Gravitas Recordings to present their uniquely heavy, yet psychedelic sound. Together the daring label and boundless artists grew to new heights, proving that there truly was an audience out there for the tripped out cousin of the popular festival trap genre. But now these two entities have taken things to a whole new level by introducing us to the next generation of brain-tingling dance producers with the new compilation album ‘Infinity Mirrors’
The artists describe the album’s sound as something you might hear if you were stumbling between a festival’s psy stage and bass music stage, but in reality the gooey amalgamation of influences isn’t nearly so black and white. Throughout the album each artist not only melts genres together, but also injects an unmistakable piece of their own identity. So while the album is very cohesive, and in some ways flows together very well, each song still stand out clearly on its own. We certainly look forward to hearing more from all of these fresh creative forces.
Standout tracks include the hypnotic “Goo Lagoon” by Au5, Ryanosaurus’ delightfully disorienting “Regained For The First Time”, and the wacky, yet charming “Rewind” by Kermode. The album ends things off on a high note with an immersive remix of ZEE’s smash hit “Inner G”. In a beautiful display of the full-circle nature of life itself, Tron Sepia delivers the most traditionally psy-trance cut off the album, paying homage to the sound the inspired it all.
