You know the phrase “Legends never die?” It’s one that is all too true and the legendary Detroit music group Inner City is living proof. Over the past three decades, Inner City has solidified themselves as heavyweights in the industry since the wild success of their 1988 hit “Big Fun.” Over the years they’ve topped the U.S. Billboard Dance chart five times and became a steady fixture in the Top 40 of the UK Singles chart with no less than nine records. Other hits that catapulted their careers include “Good Life,” “Ain’t Nobody Better,” “Do You Love What You Feel,” and “Pennies From Heaven.”
Today, Inner City has resurfaced to make their mark on a new generation of dance music lovers with their old-school house tune “Good Luck,” featuring delicious vocals from LaRae Starr. Naturally, this track is blowing up on Spotify and has already received support from prominent players like Maya Jane Coles, Monika Kruse, Luigi Madonna, Sasha, Steve Lawler, De La Swing, Joseph Capriati and Marco Carola. With all of its recent hype and additional remixes from Sure Is Pure, Chuck Daniels, and DEAS, we think it’s safe to say that this dynamite duo has reinstated their place in the House music history books as forever one of the greats.
