Dixon and Âme are bringing their famed Berlin-label Innervisions events to the West Coast this May.
In partnership with LA production company Future Primitive, Innervisions Los Angeles will be the label’s first showcase in the city, featuring extended open-air performances by Dixon, a DJ set from Âme’s Kristian Beyer, Trikk, and Eagles & Butterflies. The event’s debut will take place on May 18, 2019 from 4-11pm in Downtown Los Angeles set against the city’s glittering skyline. More venue details will be released soon.
For those of you who don’t know, Innervisions events have become famed for their unique locations and sense of time and place. Their most recent takeovers included one at London’s Royal Albert Hall, their collaborative party with Life and Death, Rakastella, popped up on a secluded Florida key during Art Basel, and their roving Lost In A Moment series has touched down on remote islands, mountain sides, ancient castles and nature reserves.
Innervisions events, though distinct, are always driven by a sense of occasion, and a burning desire to produce something unique, that captures and observes some essence of the locality. The LA event pairs the joy of dancing under a Southern California midsummer sunset, the drama of LA’s cinematic skyline, and the history and discovery of seeing an iconic LA urban park re-imagined for one night only.
