Following the immense success of their first international festival, EDC London, Insomniac has announced that their esteemed, and distinguished Electric Daisy Carnival is set to take place in Mexico from March 15-16, 2014. This notable festival will be held at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez race track in Mexico City. For this event, Insomniac has partnered with OCESA, the Mexican promotion company responsible for producing a variety performances for dance artists such as Deadmau5, and Swedish House Mafia, as well as for iconic pop figures such as Lady Gaga, and Paul McCartney.
CEO and founder of Insomniac, Pasquale Rotella, has expressed his enthusiasm towards the upcoming event in a statement:
“After the success of our first international endeavor this summer with EDC London, fans from around the world expressed an interest in experiencing EDC in their home towns…We listened, and we’re excited to announce EDC Mexico City. The fans have been so passionate about their desire for a festival there and I’m really looking forward to joining them next March when we will all celebrate music, art and life. Insomniac and our partners are working hard to plan an event that will be the truly unique and creative festival experience that fans look forward to.”

Early bird tickets will go on sale December 17 at 11 a.m CST, and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. 2 day general admission passes will start at $100, and VIP (18+) will start at $276.92, plus service fees.
