Insomniac’s Pasquale Rotella is taking a big leap to address the EDC Las Vegas situation. Announced just yesterday on his social media comes news that he will be taking part in a Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) to answer questions regarding the confusing, frustrating, and delicate situation of EDC Las Vegas taking place in 2021.
As most of you are likely aware, Rotella announced earlier this week that EDC Las Vegas would not proceed with its May dates, despite repeated assurances that the festival would take place. Rotella further announced that the festival had been rescheduled to take place at the end of October, following suit with most of the music festivals that were set to take place this summer. Rotella was immediately met with backlash following his announcement, as hundreds, if not thousands of Headliners had already booked their flights and hotels after Insomniac’s assurances that the festival would take place in May.
While Rotella will undoubtedly have some difficult questions to answer on Tuesday, there is certainly a sense of respect and accountability that is earned by taking part in a Reddit AMA to address this massive mishap.
