Jace Mek is making alot of moves proper in 2016. Dim Mak, Good Enuff, and now Uprise are just a few of the labels that have picked up on him this year. The solo producer has created not only a hybrid, but a forward-thinking sound, showcasing innovative designs from old school house and modern times. That’s not without saying he doesn’t bring his own flavor and signature to his music, because Jace Mek does and then some.
“What If” blends hints of Miami bass, tech house, and a glob of eery darkness together to form a house release that’s club friendly, festival friendly, and an overall trip an experience.
Uprise delivers a wide array of energetic songs, but this was most surprising, yet still fitting. Can’t wait to hear more from both.
