Jackal, who’s in currently on the “Mind Machine” tour with Minnesota and G Jones, has taken a minute to release his latest effort, “Chinchilla.” He dropped the record around five days ago on SoundCloud and it’s already marked up 50,000 plays. Now, from the name, you can assume “Chinchilla” would be a relaxed joint, and it is. Though, it offers an edge courtesy of chants, cooling hi-hats and snares as well as some slick synth play. In conclusion, this record isn’t for the weak hearted as it packs a pretty heavy punch with it’s cleverly relaxed tone.
