JackLNDN Takes Electronic Easy-Listening To New Levels With “Drop Out” EP

“If you are over the age of 40, you should not being listening.” Haha, the intro is hilarious, but JackLNDN’s new “Drop Out” EP is altogether serious, smooth, and ambient. The 4-track set focuses on satisfying chord progressions, light melodies, all layered with a chill house beat.

My two favorite tracks “Aeterna” and ” Make Your Mark,” are the focal point of the EP.  After “Make Your Mark” finishes, you find yourself relaxing more and more, but by then the realization hits that the final track “In Paradism” is half-way through. From an easy-listening perspective, the only way “Drop Out” EP could of been better is if it was longer.
