Jason Ross Captures Our Attention With “One Look” Out Now on Ophelia Records

Jason Ross has continued to captivate us, from note one of earlier masterpieces like his single with Karra, “Into You”, and his evolutionary Rooms EP to his latest releases like his incredibly textured “For Love” on Anjunabeats and his debut 2020 Ophelia album, 1,000 Faces, which soared in the charts, landing him #1 in Norway, #2 in Canada and Russia, and #3 the U.S. He has reignited long time fans’ love for his expansive soundscapes and garnered many more first time listeners from monumental performances from his “1,000 Faces Tour” with Sunny Lax and Matt Fax to sets at the Electric Zoo Ophelia Showcase and Dreamstate SoCal in 2019. While we have been under quarantine, Ross has continued to keep our spirits up with fire mixes from his own personal Twitch streams to also joining Dreamstate’s livestream, Nocturnal Wonderland’s Virtual Rave-A-Thon, Digital Mirage Online Music Festival, and Seven Lions’ bi-weekly mini festival, Visions.

Recently he teamed up with Slander and vocalist JT Roach for their emotive stunner, “Better Than Heaven”, that has quickly snagged thousands of streams within just a couple of weeks. However, Ross just couldn’t keep himself from revealing yet another stellar track with his latest “One Look”. We feel ourselves be gently rocked into the first few moments with soft piano notes and delicate vocals from EDM singer and songwriter Heather Sommer. The tender touches of guitar notes melt within the melody before Ross takes us up to his signature, passionate drop. His harmonious marriage between trance and melodic bass produces an experience that hits us right where we need it.
