Jerro returns with yet another single, this time calling it, “Presence.” Simplistic yet effective, this is a type of release that will make you go down memory lane with it’s soft, sentimental nature – almost against your will. Reflective is a singular term that comes to mind if I was to sum the experience up in that manner, the progressive house vibes triggering a metaphysical aura about it. The Belgian artist is far from his first release, his catalog going back to 2018 and perhaps even farther if one was to look deeper. “Presence,” is a tease from his upcoming album Coming Home. Considering the single at hand here, a expanded, more deeper dive is safe to expect on the album.
This single and thus the upcoming album will release on Lane 8’s label, This Never Happened. The album is set to drop October 1st of this year. Jerro has had other release as well on labels such as Anjunadeep and Future Classic. The soundscape he is able to open up and meaningful melodies he draws out is one part of many that plays into his appeal.
