This refreshing Jerry Folk and BB Diamond collaboration is exactly what you need to kick off your weekend proper. The effort, titled “So Long,” is by no means a soul focused production, however, BB Diamond hits the nail on the head in that respect – bringing a whole new feel to Folk’s developing sound.
Speaking of Jerry Folk, he brings an edge to this track that I can’t quite put my finger on. Perhaps it’s the mixture of soulful vocals, deep percussive elements and tropical synth play. I won’t over think it though, this track is just pure enjoyment. Don’t forget to snag the free download.
