Jesper Ryom’s debut EP, an ethereal journey through dreamy deep house soundscapes, has been re-released on Spotify.
Initially released in vinyl-only in 2013, Nature Boy makes a comeback for the digital age to the delight of Ryom’s worldwide fan base.
Those who are familiar with Ryom’s music can attest that his tracks are known to induce pure pleasure. The Berlin-based artist specializes in crafting soft, hypnotic house music that gains dance floor appeal with help from tight, shuffling grooves. His sound is masterfully crafted from a tasteful combination of eclectic synth and guitar chords paired with floating vocal cuts and air-tight rhythms.
Nature Boy’s two tracks, Godt Begyndt and Nature Boy are standout examples of his craft.
The EP’s opening track Godt Begyndt is a transient trip through Ryom’s musical mind, starting off with layers of ambient, swirling synths that are skillfully kicked into a grooving. four-on-the-floor beat.
Track two, Nature Boy, is dancy from start to finish, with tight hi-hats carrying the track through haunting vocal samples and intricate rhythms.
