JK Soul may be a new name to electronic music fans, but Soul is no newcomer by any means. Having started making beats in Slovenia in 1999, JK Soul has been a friend and collaborator of Slovenian superstar Gramatik; you can hear the similarities in their music. Now JK Soul has gone a similar route, releasing all his music for free, and making noise in the community for a unique, smooth hip-hop sound.
“Riders of Hip-Hop” is a downtempo rework of The Door’s timeless hit “Riders On The Storm”.
