Some of you might have noticed Dutch DJ Joe Stone, who released his successful debut single ‘The Party’ this year. His remake of the original single ‘This Is How We Do It’ by the legendary Montell Jordan scored really high at the charts and wrote some dance history. Last week, Joe Stone, together with dance act Daser, has again produced an amazing 90’s tune, called ‘Freak (And You Know It)’. The radio edit already went live last week and the full track will be released on October 12th, via Spinnin’ Records.
The extremely funky and electronic vibe of ‘Freak’ is repeated until the end of the single, creating some moving sounds and causing desire for more. It starts off with some lighter tunes, dropping into an insane house beat. The track contains catching chords with some very powerful melodies and vocals in between. It’s a combination of an euphoric, funky dance rhythm, together with the roughness house can bring. Joe Stone and Daser have created a house smasher.
