“Phone Down” by Lost Kings was one of the biggest SoundCloud hits of the last 2 months. The LA duo are continuing the momentum with a remix pack featuring a nice lineup of up-and-comers. There was one remix in particular that stood out to me, an artist by the name of Justice Skolnik. His style focuses on a dreamy, gradual synth chords with a dash of poppy-future bass. The dude’s twist on the Lost Kings original does the song justice and then some.
I typically enjoy artists who produce with their heart and feelings first, I could be wrong, but it seems Justice Skolnik and I have this in common, “Phone Down (Justice Skolnik Remix)” really got to me.
