The mysterious producer known as k?d has been making tsunami sized waves since his SoundCloud account was created about a year ago. The talented and unknown producer has some already incredible remixes to tracks like Daft Punk’s “Doin it Right,” Porter Robinson’s “Sad Machine,” and one of our favorite’s, ARMNHMR’s “Fallen.”
He’s now taken on the daunting task of remixing a classic by Justice, “We Are Your Friends.” A funky upbeat track that has already been remixed the world over. After such an amazing original track, and the many remixes that followed, you would think you’d be tired of yet another. That however, is far from reality with this climactic remix. A deep back beat with a heavy bassline follows the tracks progression into a Nero-esque drop with an echoing chorus laid over top. K?d continues to surprise us with amazing talent and vision, and we cannot wait to see what 2017 brings. Keep your ears peeled for more of this electronic music prodigies incredible tunes.
