In 2020, the 22 releases that Juuku dropped to the broader electronic scene absolutely helped him break and getting attention from established names like MrSuicideSheep, bitbird, Trap Nation, Proximity, and more. Still under the guise as a mystery artist – or at least an artist with a personal identity very much in the dark – Juuku is letting the music speak for itself. The mantra continues on in the case of Warmth EP, now released in full on Moving Castle.
Featuring 2 new originals not yet heard and a fitting intro and outro, an united sonic experience has been threaded between all the tracks which were previously released.
“Secret Lives,” and “Beneath Us,” are a new addition to the Juuku universe via this EP. The former single mentioned offers a mid-EP break of sorts, using elongated, slurred synths to send all sorts of emotions surging through the body with a tempo knowing no bounds. “Beneath Us,” features vocalist McCall and gives a sad-pop feel to the hard-technical heavy bass sounds that are paired with it.
Juuku is a master at maintaining a distinct sound unique to him and easy to recognize as so. Warmth EP is an extension of this and Juuku will continue to win over music lovers with this type of vibe.
