Between 7 singles, a debut show in Texas, and a full-fledged EP released on Moving Castle, juuku has had a ecstatic 2021 by all accounts. He’s capping off the year with an additional single he’s calling “undo.” If anything, his production quality is improving even more so over time, which is saying alot, given the gems he’s recently released such as “I Tried,” and “Numb.”
The mysterious solo artist builds in synth plucked melodies and harp harmonies into this production as a differentiator with “undo.” The bars soon lead to a drop, but this time features a softer than expected atmosphere. Seemingly influenced by the gentle side of the video game music world, the artist creates a track that fits well into the catalog of songs he’s quickly built up. Yet, in typical juuku fashion, the single still features all the hallmarks of a song we’d expect from him: emotionality expose through an almost all instrumental feel.
He’s now done a debut show in LA thanks to the Brownies & Lemonade event series as he continues to garner more attention. His monthly play-count is heading toward 80,000, his OpenSea NFT collection keeps growing in popularity, and things are all-around ramping up to be a stellar 2022.
