When people consider track innovation and noticeable evidence of pushing the envelope, they should look at Kai Wachi. The trap and bass scene has been saturated with so many party sounds that all sound the same – “DEMONS” is different.
This single pieces together some of the best current elements of the direction that trap is going while adding his own special sauce that pretty much no one can compare too. The elongated basslines in the drop is certainly my favorite part, next the super deep and dramatic bridge, after the second drop, that gives the release a memorable balance of vibes in a single release.
If you think the first and second drop were it, the third ending verse will throw you into a deep focus thinking mode that will have you reflect hard on what you just heard. Damn Kai Wachi.
