Since the birth of his project, Kai Wachi has been at the forefront of the bass music community with his invigorating sound design. Raised in Boise, Idaho, Kai is known for his ability to merge different genres together, such as hip-hop, heavy metal, and dubstep. Throughout his historic career, Kai has gained the support of NGHTMRE, Excision, and other figureheads of the experimental bass scene.
With an extensive list of high-energy original works, one of Kai’s greatest masterpieces is his debut album DEMIGOD. This compilation encompassed collaborations with Sullivan King, Famous Dex, Grabbitz, and many more, showcasing his growth as an artist. Additionally, Kai has joined forces with the likes of Apashe, PhaseOne, and Dylan Matthews on tracks, and has put out official remixes for Tech N9ne, Excision, BTSM, and Sudden Death.
Furthering his reign over dubstep and riddim, Kai is back with his brand new single “Masquerade”. The bass anthem is a product of Kai and rising artist YMIR’s creative genius, starting off with tantalizing lyrics. As the vocals intensify, so does the cinematic production. Then a shocking break hits with passionate screaming and a sequence of reality-distorting effects. Suddenly, the drop comes crashing down, resulting in a barrage of heavy bass that is guaranteed to make any crowd lose their minds.
“Masquerade” comes at the perfect time, as Kai continues to dominate his Skins Tour which will run through winter 2023. Almost every show is completely sold out and Kai’s diehard fans are ecstatic to hear this headbanger live.
