Kartypartyy is having another breakout year to say the least. His sound has been very in demand, his latest track “GAME ON,” getting signed to none other than KAYZO’s label WELCOME RECORDS. He’s settling in from his razzing set from EDC Las Vegas late October, the first EDC event for him to perform at, but far form the first festival to be booked for.
As the non-audible elements around Kartypartyy hint at, “GAME ON,” goes hard. The single features a rocktronic atmosphere, blending together elements of the hardcore/metal world with that of riddim and dubstep. Although not the first to do this particular combination, he makes the vibe his own – showing exquisite arrangement, unbelievable sound design, and an all around headbanging disposition that’s hard to pass up on.
We caught up with Kartypartyy to chat about a handful of subjects, including meeting KAYZO, getting signed to his label, future ambitions, and more.

How did it feel to find out you’d be signed to Kayzo’s label Welcome Records?
Honestly, I felt like a huge relief. Kayzo is well respected in the dubstep/bass community, so when I got the word it was like a small stamp of approval that I was on the right track and that my sound is being noticed.
How did you end up catching the eye of Kayzo/the label?
I met Kayzo 4 years ago and again recently when he came to play in Thailand in December 2020. I had an opportunity to spend some time with him and was super nervous to play my “Game On” single for him, but he loved it and told me to send this over, and the rest is history! Haha.
How would you describe your sound?
Growing up I have always loved rock/punk music, the guitars did it for me. I want to be known for making sick dubstep/bass beats mixed with rock instrumentals.
What inspired you to get into a more serious career in music?
This dream really came alive when I met Kayzo back in 2016 at teamlab in Japan. He is someone I looked up to and told him of my aspirations to make it out of Thailand. He told me straight up, if he could do it then I could do it, just put in the hard work and surround yourself with the right people.
What message do you hope people take away with the single “GAME ON”?
“Game On,” for me was inspired by the grind, the daily hustle to push yourself forward. Things normally do not happen overnight so, it’s the consistent grind and never giving up that will eventually pay off. “Game On,” to me, speaks about this drive, this push that comes from within, never give up, and always have this ‘GAME ON’ mindset because you cannot switch off!
Where did the name Kartypartyy come from?
I got this name back in Highschool when I was studying in Australia. My friends and I would go out and party, have a good time, and sometimes get a little rowdy. Since my name was Kart and I liked to party, so the name naturally came together, and here we are! Haha
Any big plans for 2022?
New music, new music, new music! I have a small taste now of what life could be like after being released on Welcome Records and having the chance to play at EDC LV. Now I’m even hungrier and just want to continue on this path step by step.
