Have a holly jolly Christmas Kaskade Christmas, it’s the best time of the year! Yes, you read that correctly. Kaskade has gifted his fans with a full length Christmas album just in time for the holiday season!
Kaskade Christmas is composed of 13 original productions and reworked holiday classics like “Deck The Halls”, “Silent Night”, and “The First Noel”. The collection features vocalists, Late Night Alumni, Erika, Debra Fotheringham, Skylar Grey, Ilsey, Gabrielle Current, Kayrae, Jane XØ, and Dia Frampton. Some of these names may look familiar to you, Ilsey was the brilliant singer on Kaskade’s “Disarm You” and has made her return for one of the most widely known holiday songs, “Silent Night”. Skylar Grey has also previously worked with the Grammy nominated producer, sharing her breathtaking voice on “Beneath with Me” and now a modern rendition of the traditional hymn “O Come Emmanuel”. Kaskade also lent his very own vocals on two festive tracks, “Cold December” and “Winter Wonderland”.
From start to finish, the whole album is exquisitely constructed. Kaskade kept some classics in tact with a slight twist, while vastly reconstructing some popular Christmas carols, and of course throwing in his own original productions that we believe will someday become holiday classics on their own.
