As if Miami Music Week wasn’t already heavenly enough, last night Kaskade announced via twitter that he will be playing a Redux show at the Wynwood Arts District on Thursday the 27th. Redux shows are very unique; they’re like a revival. For Kaskade, it’s deep house. As he began to make a name for himself out in San Francisco, he was making low, funky, minimal deep/tech house beats. He’s kept this beautiful talent of his alive with some redux shows along the way, the most famous being “Its You Its Me Redux” live from San Diego last summer. Fans love his deeper sounds so, naturally, after his twitter release the Internet overflowed with exciting #MiamiRedux tweets.
This night is set to feature the funky AMTRAC as well as hardstyle artist Ravell. The picture hints that ALL of his music will be revived the night of the redux show, so maybe we’ll even be lucky enough to hear a deep remix of Atmosphere. This will be a legendary event and it offers an intimate experience watching Kaskade make some of his favorite sounds. Tickets are available here.
