The original version of Kaskade’s “Samba Love” landed on a compilation roughly eight years ago, back when Ryan produced more ambient and deep house styled records. His recent “Redux” tour paid tribute to the early days of his career and this remastered and extended edit of “Samba Love” may sound familiar if you caught one of those shows. Between the atmospheric guitar and piano textures as well as the silky sounding vocal this record captured my attention with its first few lines: “Never took the chance to say, “I love you.” And that’s the one thing I regret. Never said the truth of what I was feelin’. Feelings everytime that we met.”
