Over the past few months, distinguished, and highly-respected House music producer, Kaskade has been brightening the Mondays of dance music fans everywhere by uploading sections of his classic albums to his YouTube channel for people to enjoy in their full glory. This week, he has uploaded the first six tracks of his 6th studio album, Dynasty, and needless to say, it was a much-needed blast from the past.
Released back in 2010, seasoned electronic music fans will remember this album to have marked a time of metamorphosis in Kaskade’s style, with the album having reached remarkable levels of commercial success at a time when the dance music scene was beginning to flourish into the ostentatious industry that exists today. When it first dropped, Dynasty debuted in the #4 spot on the Billboard Dance/Electronic chart, making it his second album, with Strobelite Seduction being his first, to have been received this type of recognition. In addition to demonstrating Kaskade’s musical abilities and proficiency with production, these timeless tracks are complemented harmoniously by the lush vocals of some noteworthy artists such as Haley, and Mindy Gledhill.
