America’s #1 DJ and our favorite pal, Kaskade, took to Twitter to let his fans know that he does not agree with the “not allowed” list for his show at the American Airlines Arena in Miami tomorrow. There had been a couple of comments about attendees not being able to wear kandi bracelets into the show, and Kaskade was determined to “get to the bottom of it”.
I mean that does not been make sense. Ummm hey kid you can’t wear bracelets in here cause they look cool?!?

So this manufactured + false image of us as a bunch of drugged-out zombies w/pacifiers + dead eyes scares them. What can I say? — Kaskade (@kaskade) September 13, 2013
Taking away glow sticks, stuffed animals, + candy (*Kandi) makes them feel more in control. That seems to be the crux of the thing. — Kaskade (@kaskade) September 13, 2013
He also told fans that he doesn’t have a say of what is put onto the “do not allow” list, and that it was generated by the arena’s manager.
Listen. This list of everything “not allowed” was never presented to me. It’s something that’s been generated within the last week.

In true Kaskade fashion, he reminds us that “No One Knows Who We Are“:
It’s still US vs. THEM

Kaskade displays the kind of integrity that truly makes him America’s Best DJ, regardless of votes, this is the kind of person we should stand behind. Someone that truly believes in the power of music, and will defend what he loves. Kaskade gives hope for the future of Electronic music, and makes a strong point about the core being the same regardless of the “periphery”.
Even though we’ve been percolating for 20+ years, + people think EDM is mainstream, not a lot has changed in the mind of The Machine. — Kaskade (@kaskade) September 13, 2013
We have power guys. We will change things for sure. We already are. — Kaskade (@kaskade) September 13, 2013
Regardless of the periphery, the core is the same. Music+You+Me We’re going to PLUR the shit out of that place tomorrow night. — Kaskade (@kaskade) September 13, 2013
Be sure to check out one of the six stops of Kaskade’s arena tour for his newly released album Atmosphere. It’s sure to be a show unlike any other, with Kaskade truly digging deep and getting back to his roots for this tour.
