Butch Clancy is one of the most exciting up and comers in the dubstep world. He hails from Detroit and form what I can tell is finally starting to get the attention that he deserves. He’s released a bunch of sick remixes in the past few months and they always get me super excited.
Listen to his remix of “To Build a Home” by the Cinematic Orchestra or Sia’s “Breathe Me”… one a beautiful classical piece and the other a beautiful piano led ballad, both remixed to sound like nothing else you’ve ever heard before. On the other end of the spectrum, his remix of Tay Dizm’s “Beam me Up” is just as awesome. He’s able to combine two pieces of music that can be polar opposites and make them sound blissfully amazing together.
