It goes without saying that house music has made a reemergence of sorts in the past 24 months. With many labels and established artist jumping into the house area of music, Keeld’s “Freek” fits right in with the pack. Featuring a fluid nature with one verse transitioning gracefully into the next. With that said, the single has a hard side, featuring gritty hi-hat and percussion elements alongside a energizing basslines. Dim Mak was keen to pick up this single as Keeld continues to spread his wings.
Kicking off the alias in 2017, it wasn’t until several months down the line the soloist decided to focus on house, a move he wouldn’t regret. Since then he’s been turning fan and industry heads alike, this Dim Mak release being just the latest example of Keeld’s recent rise and success.
