Khiva, known for her deep, dark sound, makes her New York City debut on January 25th at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn. Being curated by H<3art Beats, attendees can expect a fully immersive experience featuring a combination of music, art, and dance. In support of Khiva, the event will also host performances from acts such as Chief Kaya, Grundy, Krook, and Wubwitz. With The Knitting Factory’s new updated Martin sound system, attendees will experience every aspect of the music.
Khiva is known for her contemplative sound comprised of intricately crafted low-frequency soundscapes, charging beats, and the fervent utilization of contrasts. As a yogi, the artist attacks her craft with the ideology of tapping into the unseen, providing a true experience to listeners. Following a European tour with Deep Dark and Dangerous, releasing her hard-hitting debut EP In the Quiet on the label, and making waves with her latest productions and compelling performances, Khiva is continuing her upward path.
