Coming in hot from down under is Kid Only’s High Street EP, out now on Déjà Vu Traxx imprint. As one of Melbourne’s freshest new DJs at the mere age of 20, Kid Only spent the past few years experimenting with his sound through releases on Criminal Hype, Pogo and Waxx Traxx until his music eventually found its way into the hands of label head Lee Jeffrey. Captivated by this young talent’s style, Lee Jefffrey said he loves how he “brings together simple, raw cuts of house with nice chords,” and admitted that signing Kid Only’s latest tracks to the label was a “no brainer,” and we couldn’t agree more.
Made up of two brilliant tracks “High Street” and “Rush,” the entire EP is booming with base, drum kicks, hints of garage tones, and good ole classic house beats that would seamlessly fit into any club set and easily fill up any dance floor. Both tracks will surely stupefy your sense, but “Rush” in particular is beaming with old school rave vibes that are highly intoxicating. High Street EP has already received support from Shiba San, Mirkio Di Florio, Vanilla Ace, and YADE, just to name a few. We’re sure it’ll be making waves on both the club and festival circuits in the upcoming season.
