One of my absolute favorite parts about being an editor for this wonderful publication, is when new and relatively unheard music stumbles into my inbox. Today, I was very fortunate to receive an e-mail from a producer named King Froopy who recently came out with an EP. Here are his thoughts on it:
“It’s mainly house music but different than the big room sound that’s popular right now. It’s super melodic and definitely inspired by a lot of my favorite French House.”
Obviously, I was interested. Currently, his SoundCloud has 39 followers, but hopefully that’s soon to change because this guy is an outstanding producer. His latest work, the four-track Buzz EP is full of simple melodies paired with high-energy electro. Take a listen, you might be surprised at what you hear.
