3 time DMC World Championship winner Dj Craze has a very inspiring story. He fled a battle in Nicaragua at the age of 3 and dealt with Hurricane Andrew hitting Miami in 1992. Craze had one dream and that was to become ‘The best DJ in the world’ and arguably, he is. With his impressive resume he is said to be one of the best scratching DJs in the world and that statement alone means he is a must see artist at Camp Bisco Eleven.
I could spend all day going through the championships and awards that Craze has won. He is a very excited talent to have at Bisco Eleven and I couldn’t be more hyped to check him out live. What is extremely interesting is that in 1998 Craze beat A-trak to win the DMC worlds (A-Trak was only 15). Shortly after Craze teamed up with A-Trak and DJ Infamous forming ‘The Allies’ and they proceeded to kick ass as a team. The Allies claimed 2nd place in the first DMC Team Championship in 1999 and then in 2000, the Allies’ won the Team Championship title, taking it from the previous year’s winners the Scratch Perverts.
